The Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department manages a variety of trails throughout the park system. Trails can be found throughout the following park locations:

Multi-use Path Information

Sun Prairie is home to several miles of paved trails. Pick up a copy of the City of Sun Prairie Bicycle Routes Map at one of the following locations:

  • City Hall (300 E. Main Street)
  • Sun Prairie Chamber of Commerce (109 E. Main Street)
  • Westside Community Services Building (2598 W. Main Street)

Sheehan Park Mountain Bike Trails

The Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department partners with the Capital Off Road Pathfinders to offer mountain biking trails throughout the southern portion of Sheehan Park.

To access the Sheehan Park Mountain Bike Trails, park in the Youth Baseball Complex parking lot off of South Bird Street (910 S Bird Street) and follow the grassy trail to the trail head as seen on the map below.
