Museum Services

There is no charge for regular admission to the Sun Prairie Historical Library and Museum. The following services are subject to the Museum's Fee Schedule.

Research

The Museum supports academic and independent researchers in their studies related to Sun Prairie's history. Research services, including consultation and access to archival materials, are available to help with genealogy projects, scholarly works, property research, community projects, etc. Visit Conduct Historical Research for more information.

Digital Reproductions

The Museum provides reproduction services for documents (text-based records) and images (photographs and negatives) within its collections and subject to legal and ethical considerations. Visit Historical Images for procedures specific to photographic materials.

Private Tours

The Museum offers private tours for scout groups, clubs, community organizations, families, and other groups. These tours occur outside of open hours and can include the Museum, the Columbus Street Water Tower, and/or Downtown Sun Prairie. Please contact Museum staff to discuss scheduling options.

Presentations

Book the Museum to give a presentation on Sun Prairie history at a club meeting, group event, or educational setting. Please contact Museum staff to discuss topics and scheduling options.
