Image Quality

Digital reproductions are high-resolution and show incredible detail when zoomed in. They are also suitable for enlarged printing. The size and dimensions of the digital files vary based on the source image, but are typically 1.5-3 MB in size.

For example, the full-sized reproduction for Object ID P98334_001 is 2.2 MB and 4301 x 2763 pixels. When zoomed in, a sign for "C.A. Cobb Dentist" and an awning for "Cream City Beer" are legible.

A watermarked version of the same image can be viewed below and downloaded by right-clicking and selecting "Save image as..."  This sample version is 597 KB and 2600 x 1670 pixels.

Purchased image reproductions are of very high quality and are not watermarked. SPHLM P98334 Sample Image
