Rush is a Belgian Malinios. He was born and trained in Ontario, Canada at Working K9. He is a multi-purpose dog and is trained in narcotic detection, tracking, apprehension, handler protection, and article/evidence searches. He started at the Sun Prairie Police Department in September of 2022. He has been certified in all areas at Steinig Tal Kennel in Campbellsport, Wisconsin. He and his handler, Officer Michelle Schultz are a great addition to our department.
