The 2021 open enrollment period for eligible employees to enroll for benefits is October 30 - November 13, 2020. During the open enrollment period, the City's benefit plans renew, and all employees who are eligible must take action to elect or decline plans or coverage and add or drop dependents. Elections made during Open Enrollment are effective on January 1 and remain in place for one year.
For 2021, our renewal rate was originally locked in at 8.9% and our consultant was able to secure a 7.7% renewal rate. To review health plan cost information for 2021, including rates for full and part-time employees, click here.
