Employee Health Benefits Overview

For 2022, the city will remain with Dean Health Insurance and offer a High Deductible Health Plan.  Our renewal rate was originally capped at 7.9% and our consultant was able to secure a 5% renewal rate. New in 2022! Completion of a health risk assessment is no longer required to having the city cover the full cost of the premium (prorated for PT employees).  We will be offering wellness incentives after January 1, 2022 that will be optional. More information to come.
