Blasting and Rock Crushing Permits are now online through OpenGov.
Anyone applying for a Blasting and Rock Crushing Permit must submit:
- Copy Blasting Plan
- Written Consent from Property Owner
- Site Plan
- Certificate of Insurance
Simply go to this link to create or log in to your account in OpenGov.
Moving forward, once you create an account, you can apply for multiple licenses through the City each year, using the same account (including Dog License/Operator’s License/Special Event/etc).
No person within the city shall operate a rock crusher or do blasting in such a manner so that any dust, dirt or vibration from such operation shall, in any way, damage or injure any person or property within the city. All blasting within the city shall be performed according to the requirements of Chapter Comm 7, Explosive Materials, Wisconsin Administrative Code, and all subsequent amendments thereto.
All applications for a Blasting or Rock Crushing Permit must be submitted at least sixty (60) days in advance.
License Fee
- $10.00 per blasting period
- $10.00 per year of Gravel Crushing
- Fees ARE due at the time of application
All permits expire on December 31
