Tom & Rita Tubbs Splashpad and Playground

The Tom & Rita Tubbs Splashpad & Playground at Wetmore Park, located at 555 North Street was constructed in 2021 and features a garden-themed wet and dry playscape for children of all ages.  The splashpad boasts a 2,413 square foot wet deck with a total of 36 spray features, a three-stall changing structure, large butterfly shade structures, and ample seating.  The 5,414 square foot playground area includes a tot play area, a rope climbing structure and a tall 1.5 story slide!

Hours of Operation

The facility is free of charge and the playground is open year-round. The splashpad portion is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day and runs seven days a week from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm.

Wetmore East Shelter

A four-season shelter was constructed at Wetmore Park in 2024. This shelter is reservable for a fee. Please visit our facility rentals page for more information on reserving this facility.

Parking

There is parking available on North Street (555 North Street), with overflow parking available at Sun Prairie United Methodist Church from 11:00 am - 10:00 pm, unless otherwise posted.
