How to Engage in the 2027 Budget Process
At the October 6 Committee of the Whole meeting, Mayor Stocker will present his 2027 proposed budget. As the City’s most significant annual policy document, elected officials and staff have been working together over the course of many months to present a balanced, cost-to-continue budget. And we will continue to work together in the weeks ahead, with a goal of the final budget being adopted on November 10.
Throughout October, the City Council will be holding special budget work sessions to discuss the policies and funding laid out in the mayor's proposal. Residents are encouraged to engage in the process by attending or tuning in to these workshops, and reaching out to their Alders with any concerns.
