Where can I place an election sign?
They can be placed on private property, but not between the curb and sidewalks. If you do not have sidewalks, the signs must not be in the right of way (approximately 11’ in from curb line). All signs must have a disclaimer (paid for and authorized by). If signs are positioned on city, county, or state right of ways they will be removed. Please call 608-825-1184 for more information.
