The Sun Prairie Historical Library & Museum is going public with the past by opening its collections to you from the comfort of your home! This is a huge step forward for public access to all the Museum has to offer. So what does this mean?

Behind the Scenes Access

Until now, only Staff and Volunteers could access the Museum's database and see exactly what the collections contain. That changes now! You are invited to see all the treasures of

You can live in the heart of Sun Prairie or on the farthest edges of the planet and now access the database as long as you have an internet connection.

Find a picture you'd love to hang in your home, office, or business? Now you can peruse the site and submit an image request! See our page on the website for a newly implemented fee schedule including digital files of images you can then print in whatever form you like- on canvas, as a puzzle, a mug, or whatever you can imagine! Sun Prairie residents receive a discounted rate.

This is just the start - the Museum's collections contain over 35,000 items, with nearly 9,000 already visible. Don't see what you're looking for yet? Not to fret!
