COVID 19: Latest Public Health and State Orders

STATE EXECUTIVE AND EMERGENCY ORDERS
On November 20, Governor Tony Evers issued Executive Order 95, declaring a public health emergency, and corresponding Emergency Order 1, regarding face coverings in certain situations for people over the age of 5. Face coverings are required to be worn whenever you are indoors or in an enclosed space, other than a private residence, and other people are present in the same room or space.
On November 10, Governor Tony Evers signed Executive Order #94, advising Wisconsinites to stay home, urges precautions Wisconsinites should take to stay safe if they have to leave their home, and encourages businesses to take additional steps to protect workers, customers, and the surrounding community.
PUBLIC HEALTH MADISON & DANE COUNTY EMERGENCY ORDERS
1. PHMDC Emergency Order #10 is in effect on November 18 at 12:01am until December 16, 2020 at 12:01am and continues to require face coverings and limit the capacity for most businesses to 50%, along with many other provisions. Indoor mass gatherings of any people who do not live together are prohibited. Outdoor mass gatherings are limited to 10 people who do not live together, with physical distancing.
2. PHMDC Emergency Order #9 is in effect at 12:01am, August 24, 2020. This new order mandates that grades 3 - 12 will start virtually. (NOTE: The Wisconsin Supreme Court entered a temporary injunction that allows K-12 schools in Dane County to fully open for in-person instruction.)
3. PHMDC Emergency Order #8 - Mask and limited public gatherings still in effect.
