We want to thank everyone who came out to show support for the 2023 Sun Prairie Multicultural Fair! We appreciate all of the sponsors, volunteers, food vendors, performers, exhibitors, and attendees who made this event possible!
We will start the planning for the 2024 event around May of next year. If you have interest in being involved, please reach out to Jake King, Communications & Diversity Strategist, at jking@cityofsunprairie.com

Clerk's Office

Interested in how elections work?  Sign up to work on Election Day!

In February 2019, the City Council authorized funds to expand our polling locations from four locations to eight.  With the addition of these locations, the City Clerk’s office is always looking for individuals to serve as Election Officials to effectively staff our sites on Election Day.  2024 is going to be a very busy year, and the need for Election Officials will be tremendously high.

You can learn firsthand the voting process by being an Election Official!  The primary goal is to involve residents in the voting process as Election Officials and to bring awareness and understanding of the importance of voting and the voting process.  This experience also inspires residents to register, to vote regularly, and be involved in their community.

You can join this team of caring individuals who help ensure the basic right of citizenship to vote in a fair, free election.  Election Officials are required to attend a short training session prior to each election, and can choose to volunteer or earn the hourly wage.

If interested, please contact the City Clerk’s office at 608-825-1148 or email voting@cityofsunprairie.com and we would be happy to get you signed up.  Looking forward to working with you!

ARE YOU A REGISTERED VOTER?

Wisconsin requires 28 days to establish residency at a new address.  When registering, you must present Proof of Residence, a document showing your current name at your current address.  You cannot register to vote at a post office box.  Time spent away from your residence still counts toward the 28 days.

Online

Visit My Vote Wisconsin to register online.  If you have a valid, unexpired Wisconsin driver license or Wisconsin ID, and your address on file with the DMV matches the address at which you are registering to vote, your registration will take effect immediately.   If the DMV does not have your current address on file, either update your address on the DMV website before updating your registration, or submit Proof of Residence along with your registration form to the City Clerk’s Office.
