Sun Prairie in Motion Active Transportation Plan

The purpose of the Plan is to make walking, biking and rolling in our city easier and safer. It guides City staff and elected officials as they decide where to build new bikeways, paths, and sidewalks. It also helps focus investment in new infrastructure in the areas that most need it. The Plan helps the City in a number of ways, including the following:

• A Plan for Developing Neighborhoods
• Guidance for When Trade-offs are Needed
• Facility Selection Tools
• A List of High-Priority Projects
• Updates to Policies and Programs

The Sun Prairie City Council adopted the Sun Prairie in Motion Active Transportation Plan on September 19, 2023.
