Chief of Police Recruitment Process

The City of Sun Prairie Police Commission has engaged GovHR USA Consultants to assist with our Chief of Police recruitment process.  As part of this process, we invited several community stakeholders, law enforcement partners, and department staff to assist us in identifying the key characteristics, skills, and traits of an ideal candidates; as well as identifying some of the local community issues which the new Chief will face.  Those informal discussions helped us in preparing a recruitment brochure and will be the basis for identifying outstanding candidates that fit our community's needs.
