Upcoming Public Information Meeting Regarding Commuter Bus Service
On Tuesday, March 26th the City of Sun Prairie will be hosting a public involvement meeting at Creekside Elementry to present the draft express commuter bus route to the community. The doors will open at 6:30 pm and opportunities will be provided for individuals to share their ideas, concerns, and opinions about the bus route and stops. The planned route would include a local circulator, park-and-ride pickup, and express service from Sun Prairie to the Capitol Square.
Residents are invited and encouraged to attend the public involvement meeting. City of Sun Prairie staff and Metro Transit staff will be on hand to answer questions and hear your comments. Presentation boards showing the route analysis and the proposed route as well as comment forms will be available. Staff will also give a brief presentation in support of the route at 7:00 pm.
If you would like to learn more or offer comments but cannot attend the open house, information is on the Express Commuter Bus web page. Comments may be submitted to the Planning Division any time before Monday, April 1st
