The current Sun Prairie Area Community Band can trace its roots back to 1876 when the forerunner to the current ensemble, the Sun Prairie Cornet Band, was a principal source of entertainment for the villagers. The museum is pleased to present on-line, Sun Prairie Community Bands: A Definitive Historical Overview 1876 – 2009.
The Museum is proud to announce the new and improved Death List. It's on the web, it's an easy to search database, and it includes almost 13 thousand individuals buried in more than 25 cemeteries.
