Yard Waste
Yard waste (leaves and grass) is collected curbside three times each year. Collections are scheduled in advance to attempt to meet the needs of residents. This material can also be disposed of at the Recycle Center.
Yard waste is categorized as leafy vegetation that will compost in a very short period of time. Shrub trimmings, leaves, grass, twigs smaller in diameter than a pencil, and garden waste are all yard waste.
Yard waste is collected curbside one week in the spring and two weeks in the fall. Materials placed at the curb for collection on the scheduled weeks must be placed into open trash bags or garbage cans. Please do not mix brush or garbage with the materials.
Materials should be placed at the curb by 7 a .m. on Monday of the designated collection week and they will be picked up sometime during that week.
