Sun Prairie, WI. - The City of Sun Prairie wants your input regarding future growth and development in the community! Upcoming open houses on May 14, 17 and 19 will provide an opportunity for residents to share their thought on various growth related topics, and an online survey is also available for people to provide input. The City encourages residents and others interested in Sun Prairie’s future to participate in both.
The City is updating its 2009 Comprehensive Land Use Plan. The purpose of this plan is to determine long-term community goals and aspirations over the next several decades, establishing City policies and actions related to transportation, utilities, land use, recreation, housing and economic development. The City is kicking off the project with the community survey and public open houses noted above. The survey is an important opportunity for Sun Prairie residents and other stakeholders to contribute their thoughts and opinions on a range of topics related to the growth of the community. As a member of our community we invite you to take the online survey using the link www.surveymonkey.com/r/SunPrairieWIS, which is also available on the City’s website.
Online responses are strongly preferred, but if you are unable to respond to the survey online, paper copies are available at City Hall and the Library until June 10. Survey responses will remain anonymous. To take this survey in other languages, contact the City Planning Department at City Hall (300 E. Main St.) or at 825-1107. Esta encuesta está disponible en español en el Ayuntamiento (300 E. Main Street) o en el sitio web del proyecto (goo.gl/WwJCht).
