2013 Historic Talks & Tours Announced
The Museum sponsors a series of different historic talks and tours of residences, businesses and cemeteries. New research is added each year and different houses, people and businesses are emphasized. After the downtown walks, the Museum will be open for visitors to view the exhibits. Each walk or talk is approximately 60 minutes long. Walking tours are accessible for persons in wheelchairs.

Here is the 2013 schedule of talks and tours:

  • Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 6:30 p.m.
    Talk: Footprints of Sun Prairie Leaders, Sun Prairie Library, 1350 Linnerud.
  • Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 6:30 p.m.
    Talk: Sun Prairie History in Videos, Sun Prairie Library, 1350 Linnerud.
  • Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 6:30 p.m.
    Talk: Sun Prairie Women Speak Out, Sun Prairie Library, 1350 Linnerud.
  • Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. West Main Street Walking Tour - School on the Hill (Meet at the Museum)
  • Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. Sun Prairie Cemetery
    Encore Performance of "Voices of Sun Prairie" Historical Reenactment first performed in August 2012. Park in upper lot of Angell Park and meet at Angell Park shelter adjacent to cemetery.
