The weather forecast calls for a significant amount of snow beginning late Monday night. A Snow Emergency will become effective once the snow reaches a 3-inch depth or greater and remain in effect until 7 a.m. on Wednesday. Vehicles should not be parked on any City street until that street has been plowed from curb to curb. Violators may be ticketed and/or towed.
The City of Sun Prairie has two winter parking regulations to provide for safe and effective snowplowing and traffic control. Click below for more info.

City crews, under the direction of a certified arborist, will be pruning City trees over the next several months. Pruning promotes healthy trees, eliminates diseased or damaged branches, and improves visibility on the streets.
