New State Law requires the posting of the number of outstanding Absentee and Provisional Ballots.
Provisional ballots cast on Election Day are not counted until the required information (either proof of residence, driver license number or acceptable photo ID) is provided to either the election inspector by the 8:00pm on Election Day, or to the municipal clerk by 4:00pm on the Friday after the election. Public Education Sessions for June 5, 2012 Advisory Referendum Regarding Full-time vs Part-time Mayor
On March 27, the City Council approved placing an Advisory Referendum question on the June 5, 2012 ballot. The question seeks input from Sun Prairie residents on City governance – specifically whether the role of the Mayor should be changed from part-time to full-time.
In order to allow voters the ability to garner further information on the Advisory Referendum question, the City has scheduled two public education sessions as follows:
- Thursday, April 26, 6-7:30 p.m. - Wednesday, May 23, 5:30-7 p.m.
Both sessions will be held at City Hall, 300 East Main Street, in the Council Chambers on the second floor.

Brush (sticks and branches) will be collected for
all refuse/recycle routes
beginning at 7 a.m.

2012 Summer Fun Guide
The 2012 Summer Fun Guide was mailed on March 15th to City of Sun Prairie residents! Registration starts on Thursday, March 29th!
|  | Sun Prairie Historical Museum Announce 2012 Walking Tour Schedule!
The Museum sponsors a series of different walking tours of residences, businesses, and cemeteries. New research is added each year and different houses, people and businesses are emphasized. After the downtown walks, the Museum will be open for visitors to view the exhibits. Each walk is approximately 60 minutes long.
These walking tours are accessible for persons in wheel chairs. 
|  | Storage of Refuse and Recycling Collection Carts
On April 3, 2012, the City Council amended City ordinances related to storage of the green 65 or 95 gallon refuse and recycling collection carts provided by the City. The ordinance revision will not affect most Sun Prairie residents. Please use this link to find out what the changes are.

Error in District 4 Voting Location Information
The Sun Prairie Clerk's office is aware of an error in District 4 voter location information that was recently sent to residents. Corrected information will be sent out as soon as possible.
District 4 voters will continue to vote at the Westside Community Service Building, 2598 W. Main Street.
Correct voting information can be found on the City Clerk's webpage, or you may search your voter registration or address on the Voter Public Access website: https://vpa.wi.gov/.
